
After launching in 2023 with the redesign of the beloved Bikeways Map, the Bike Friendly Fairbanks (BFFBX) Program has continued to grow.

BFFBX Partnerships grew to over 30 this past year. The contributions from local businesses into these partnerships raised over $4000 in additional print funds that went directly into distributing double the usual amount of Bikeways Maps community wide.

The Girls Who Weld Program collaboration with FAST Planning established a local level connection between bicycle rack manufacturing and deployment. Learn more about the collaboration HERE.

The Free Bike Valet gained popularity in Summer 2025. Available at the Midnight Sun Festival from Noon to Midnight, and the July and August Georgeson Botanical Garden and UAF Summer Sessions’ Music in the Garden events. We parked HUNDREDS of bikes.

Bikeways Maps continued to grow in demand and popularity. FAST Planning distrubuted 6800 maps to 45 businesses in the Fairbanks and North Pole areas.
