Those enrolled in this incredible summer program manufactured 9 bike racks that feature the BFFBX branding and a stamp of ownership from the GWW Program. See the Resolution of Appreciation below.

The vibe in the welding warehouse was full on nostalgic rock with a sprinkle of metal. Check out the playlist we made on Spotify to share the 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽energy here ⤵️

How did it work?
FAST Planning purchased all of the materials necessary for this effort, expanding the program’s budget and capabilities by a few thousand dollars. Pete Daley, the lead educator of the program, would provide FAST Planning with a list of the required materials, and FAST Planning would purchase them outright. This kept the process streamlined and easy for all parties involved.
The success of this pilot program has set the precedent for a community grant style effort to mix in with the regular programming of FAST Planning’s budget. The goal is to expand this organization’s reach to the community to continue making meaningful connections.
What’s next?
We’re doing it all again in 2026! Stay tuned for more pins on the map. Find the existing 2025 Girls Who Weld Program bike racks here:
